The Stone Tower Temple |
A blog about The Legend of Zelda. If you've got any questions, don't be shy! I'll also except submissions if I see them as good enough. I've played all the games except the Gameboy ones. |
That thing is too small to be a harp; harps go on the floor.
While I do agree, to argue, it is called a harp in Skyward Sword, lyre is never even mentioned from my knowledge, so I guess you could call it either, but you would call it “the harp” when referring to it simply because that’s what it’s called.
The amount of secrets to be unlocked in this game is overwhelming.
Good evening, morning, or afternoon depending on where you live! I beat The Minish Cap, and it’s still as great as ever, I love this game and Capcom did a fantastic job! Anyway, my birthday is in a month, and I’m getting a 3DS along with Ocarina of Time, so for now, I’ll hold off on playing through it again so I’ll want to play that. In that time, I’ll try getting 100% on The Minish Cap! I’ll post anything I have to say about it here.
I have a few complaints. When shrunken down, there is a bit of inconsistency in what you can go past and what you can’t. There were stairs that I was stuck on for a while because I didn’t think you could go up them. There are parts that you can’t go up because they’re too high, but those seem lower than the aforementioned stairs, so inconsistent, and it caused me to be stuck at that part, even though I played this game before.
Also, some sprites are just enlarged to look bigger, and it makes them look pixelated, it doesn’t look good and they should’ve just made actual sprites for them.
I also wanted to comment on the graphics, they’re so great, they surpass A Link to the Past by miles. I guess that makes sense because the GBA is a 32-bit system, so it can support as many colors as it needs, but they’re also much more detailed, but still cartoony. I love them.

This is beautiful.

Before today, I never realized that the soundtrack is really good. It’s really catchy and just well composed, but it doesn’t really seem like a Zelda sountrack in my opinion. It’s just strange, does anyone know who composed it? I don’t think it’s Koji Kondo?
It’s a fact that it was overshadowed. To me, it’s definitely far better as well.

I wouldn’t do it, man.
I take a bit back of what I said about A Link to the Past. It’s not a bad game, and it controls rather well, I guess I just played it on the wrong system.
So yesterday, I beat Skyward Sword for the third time. It’s still amazing as ever. I’ll start Minish Cap next week.
How the hell? Well. Admin probably doesn’t procrastinate… everything. Like I do. #still haven’t done Din’s silent realm yet.
I encourage you to move forward in this amazing game. You’ll love the rest of it.
